(1) The Qualifying Examination
Part

Part

which leads to enrolment on the Canadian Medical Register as a Licentiate of the
Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) when a candidate holds an acceptable degree in
medicine and has completed a minimum of twelve months of satisfactory
postgraduate medical training.
(2) The Evaluating
Examination for graduates of international medical

one of the conditions required for entrance to the Qualifying Examination of

The Council also sponsors and is engaged
in research in the field of evaluation of medical graduates so as to assume its
share of responsibilities for the protection and health care of the population
of Canada.
